Botswana Highlights Workforce Development Through Economic Transformation

On 3 November, the Finance Minister highlighted the importance of creating employment opportunities through investment in manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, energy and digitalisation. The African Development Bank's previously approved US$503.75 million financing programme also targets MSME development and job creation, including 3,935 direct jobs by 2027/28. This is programme financing approved on 23 October, not a new funding announcement during this week. Opportunities exist for recruitment firms, training providers and workforce consultants.
