Albania Proposes ALL 17.9 Billion for Agriculture and Farmer Support

On 2 November, Albania’s draft 2027 budget proposed ALL 17.9 billion for agriculture, including ALL 5.3 billion in direct farmer support and ALL 3 billion for the 10% VAT compensation scheme. Additional funding is planned for irrigation and drainage improvements. The proposed allocation creates opportunities for agricultural suppliers, irrigation contractors, food processors and logistics companies.
